a) Three essays (600 words max.) about the compulsory films/texts
b) Two tasks about the compulsory readings
c) Class participation and regular attendance are compulsory to pass the module
Global assessment (100%)
- Essay about the compulsory readings and class presentations
- Essay about one of the compulsory films (600 words)
Second call (100%)
Global assessment like that of the first call.
Evaluation criteria
-Ability to describe and analyse the formal resources at work in a specific text
-Ability to understand the cultural aspects at work in the compulsory films and texts.
-Ability to organize ideas and express them in a coherent argumentative way (in an essay and in class)
-Develop an understanding of the most important social and historical tendencies of US society (1925-1975).
-Use of written and spoken English (C1)
