1. General information
The subject develops the contents of the direction and logistics management necessary for the proper functioning of the organization from a global point of view.
The idea of logistics management throughout the entire life cycle of defence systems will be explored in depth. The characteristics of the logistics management systems of the Ministry of Defence will be known and the bases to carry out a joint logistics and operational management in accordance with standards and regulations will be established.
2. Learning results
The main objective of the subject is that the student masters the logistics function as a support to the life cycle of a system, as well as logistics in the Armed Forces and in an allied or international environment.

4. Academic activities
Non-face-to teaching [40 hours]: Through the materials and tools available, the knowledge of the subject will be progressively advanced in following the established schedule.
Face-to-face session [5 hours]: A case study will be presented and solved.
Evaluation [5 hours]: completion of several tests and a paper.
Personal study and work; tutoring and/or videoconference classes on demand
5. Assessment system
FIRST CALL:
Continuous Assessment:
- Self-assessment test (10%). A self-assessment test will be available throughout the planned work time for each topic. Four self-assessment tests will be offered.
- Midterm exams with closed questions (50%) There will be 3 tests throughout the term to evaluate the content seen up to that moment. They will last one hour and will be held at a pre-set time slot.
- Resolution of the practical case study (20%). A report delivered in pairs will be evaluated.
- Preparation and presentation of a topic (20%). The recording of an individual presentation will be evaluated.
In order to pass the subject, students must obtain an average grade of 5 out of 10.
The schedule and format of these tests will be defined at the beginning of the term.
Global test:
Students who do not pass the subject by continuous evaluation or who would like to improve their grade, will have the right to take the overall test set in the academic calendar, prevailing, in any case, the best of the grades obtained. This global test will consist of a written exam and will have a 100% weight in the final grade. To pass the subject, the student must obtain a final grade greater than or equal to 5.
SECOND CALL:
Global test:
Students who do not pass the subject in the first call may sit for a global test set in the academic calendar for the second call. This global test will consist of a written exam and will have a weight of 100%. In order to pass the subject, the student must obtain a final grade of 5 or higher.
