1. General information
The subject and its expected results respond to the following approaches and objectives:
- First of all, that the students know the scope and circumstances in which they will develop the exercise of their profession and the context in which they develop it.
- Secondly, on the basis of the competencies acquired throughout the course of study, to be able to design, develop and implement systems and processes.
Defense and Business Profile: These approaches and objectives are aligned with all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030 (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/ in such a way that the acquisition of the subject's learning results provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement.
2. Learning results
1. Be able to elaborate, present and defend individually an original exercise of professional character in the field of Industrial Organisation Engineering as a demonstration and synthesis of the competences acquired in the subjects.
2. Apply the acquired competencies to the performance of a task in an autonomous manner.
3. Plan and use the necessary information for a project or academic work based on a critical reflection on the resources used.
4. Break down a complex task into sub-tasks and plan its execution.
5. Communicate clearly and efficiently in oral and written presentations on complex topics, adapting to the situation, type of audience and communication objectives.
3. Syllabus
When referring to the Degree Final Project, we will refer to the contents of all the subjects that have been taken throughout the student's training.
4. Academic activities
Company Profile
Methodology:
1. Autonomous activities directed by the director of the Degree Final Project and supervision of the writing by the director.
2. Individual tutoring possibly with each of the specialist teachers of the different subjects.
The calendar will be set by the director, personalized according to the evolution of the work itself and adapted to the academic year (http://eupla.unizar.es/asuntos-academicos/trabajo-fin-de-grado)
Defense Profile
The Degree Final Project is carried out in a unit, center or organization of the Army or the Ministry of Defense, during the same period in which the student carries out their specialty.
The student is supervised by the Academic Director of the CUD and the Military Director, who supervise both the completion of the DFP and the student's activity in the PEXT.
The planned learning activities are:
- Autonomous work of the student guided by the directors.
- Individual tutorials that may be face-to-face or virtual.
- Individual mentoring with subject matter specialists from CUD, the Units or other related organizations.
An informative session may be organized before the start of the TFG by the subject coordinator.
5. Assessment system
The student must demonstrate that they have achieved the expected learning results through the presentation and defense of the Degree Final Project before a university tribunal, or by means of a simplified procedure as established in each center, which integrates the formative contents received and the acquired competences.
Company Profile
The DFP will be evaluated on: the process of realization, the quality of the work and the presentation before the tribunal. Regardless of its modality of execution, duration, or place of execution (university, company, etc.).
Once the defense of the DFP is finished, the examining board will meet to evaluate and decide the grade to be assigned to the student, based on the documentation provided, the presentation and the defense performed.
Defense Profile
The assessment instruments and their weighting in the weight of the final grade will be the DFP report, with 80%, and the oral presentation, with 20% oral presentation, with 20%.
The assessment criteria and their weighting are structured in four blocks:
A.- Content of the report (50%):
A1 Approach (15%)
A2 Scientific-technical contents (30%)
A3 Results (15%)
B.- Execution of the work (20%)
C. - Written presentation of the report (10%)
D.- Oral presentation (20%)
Level of demand: The Academic Director may authorize the deposit as long as the student obtains a passing grade in each of the sections A, B and C.
The grading criteria for each of the blocks are defined in an assessment rubric. This rubric will be the tool that the faculty will use to evaluate the Final Degree Projects and will serve to guide the students. This rubric will be available in the DFP space in Moodle.
The student is recommended to use the template for the preparation of the report that will be provided in Moodle.
The oral presentation will be in English. The structure of the presentation, oral communication skills, ability to answer questions (which may be done in Spanish), support resources and adequacy to the establishedtime will be evaluated.
