1. General information
Goals:
a) Analyze the normative curriculum of the CCSS area in Primary Education (EP).
b)Understand and apply the methodological principles of the didactics of the CCSS in EP.
c) Develop and apply didactic resources, techniques, materials and methodologies in the learning process of the CCSS.
d) Elaborate didactic designs at the level of didactic unit, course, cycle or stage programming for the CCSS subject.
e) Collect and develop didactic resources for permanent updating in the field of the CCSS.
f) Value the usefulness of citizenship education.
g) Promote the knowledge and value of the SDGs, in particular: 5 (Gender Equality), 10 (Reducing Inequalities), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
2. Learning results
The student, in order to pass this course, will have tó demonstrate the following results...
1. Knows the nature, organizatiońn, methods and resources of the didactics of Social Sciences, as well as itscurrentlines of research and innovation.
2. Adequately analyzes thecurrentcurriculumand is able to develop it in a critical and innovative way in units and didactic programs.
3. Learn the models, elements and processes ofdidacticdesignin Social Sciences and apply them in the planning anddevelopment of teaching-learning activities, selecting, elaborating and using competencies, goals, contents, methodologies, resources and evaluation criteria and instruments.
4. Maintains aconstructive andcritical attitude towardsthe school curriculum and teaching practice..
5. He/she has the specific knowledgeof the Social Sciences subjects necessary to teach Social Sciences at Primary Education as well as a sufficient level of maturity and correctness in oral and written expression.
3. Syllabus
1. Fundamentos teóricos de la didáctica del tiempo, la Historia y el patrimonio.
2. Time, history and heritage in the currículo.
3. El diseño didactic in the Social Sciences.
4. Psychoevolutionary aspects of learning time and history in the child̃o.
5. Methodologieśas, techniques and resources for the teaching-learning of time, history and heritage.
6. Líneas of innovation in didactics of time, history and heritage.
7. Didáctica de la educación cívica.
4. Academic activities
The learning process is based on the explanation and application of the different didactic methodologies for the teaching of the SS.
The programmed learning activities are distributed in large group classes predominantly theoreticaland practical in split group. Tutorials are also learning activities.
The activities include practical classroom trips in small groups, which may be carried out at times other than the usual timetable, in which case they may not be assessed.
Alsothe organization of conferences or seminars with guest speakers to facilitate the acquisition of the competences of the subject is also contemplated.
5. Assessment system
The subject will be evaluated́ by means of a single global testit will consist of two parts:
- Written exam: it will assesś mastery of the theoretical knowledge of the subject (50%):
- 3 to 6 short questions (30%)
- Development theme (20%)
- Practice Folderpractice: the application of the didactic proposals will be evaluated (50%)the application of the didactic proposals (50%):
- An individual work
- Two group works.
The evaluation isaggregate (the grades of the different parts are added in the percentages indicated) and it is necessary to pass each of the two parts of theevaluation inorder to pass the subject.
When a part has not been passed,thegrade of the failed part weighted out of 10 will be recordedin the minutesand will keep the grade of the passed part only for the second call. As part of the evaluation, the faculty may request the oral defense of any written test or assignment. Spelling mistakes will be penalized with up to 50% of the maximum possible grade, although the penalty will not result in failure. The delivery of practices and works will be made on the date of the evaluation test or continuously in the form and conditions thatwill beestablished in due subjec.
In the second call it willalso be evaluatedby means of an exam and practical portfolio, aswell as in the fifth and sixth calls that will be evaluated by the corresponding examining board.
Finally, it must be taken into account that the Regulations of the Norms of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to the irregularities committed in the evaluation tests by means of academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of the Regulations of the Norms of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
