1. General information
The main objective of these training complements is to enable students to acquire a theoretical and practical set of knowledge and skills that are necessary to develop the adequate competencies within the direction and management of human resources in the organization. These complements will cover basic aspects related to human resources management such as human resources planning, analysis, job description and evaluation, recruitment, selection, evaluation and development of personnel in organizations.
These approaches and objectives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030(https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), specifically with number 5, gender equality, and number 8, decent work and economic growth, so that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and knowledge, skills and competencies to contribute to some extent to their achievement.
2. Learning results
1. To know and explain what is the psychology of work, organizations and human resources (or WOHR Psychology).
2. To know and apply the most appropriate basic techniques in recruitment and selection of human resources.
3. To know, design and manage welcome programs for new personnel.
4. To know, identify and evaluate people's competencies, proposing actions for their development.
3. Syllabus

4. Academic activities
Lectures (20 hours): theoretical and practical sessions in which the contents of the subject will be explained.
Problem solving and case studies (20 hours): sessions to solve practical cases, readings and exercises proposed by the teachers.
Study, teaching assignments and other activities (58 hours): reading, comprehension and study of the material taught in class and included in ADD-Moodle (Anillo Digital Docente) (non-classroom).
Assessment tests (2 hours): exams and other evaluation activities.
5. Assessment system
The training complements can be assessed by means of continuous evaluation or single evaluation:
Continuous assessment system
- Individual written test (80% final grade): an objective multiple-choice test (60% final grade): it consists of 18 questions with 3 alternative answers, one of which is correct. There is no penalty for failure.
- Completion of exercises/case studies (20% final grade): completion of exercises and/or a small case study.
- Participation and attendance (20% final grade): assessment of the students' attendance and active participation in class, both in the classroom and non-classroom part, as well as in the tutorials of the training complements.
2. Single assessment system:
- Individual written test (100% final grade):
- Multiple-choice test (80% final grade): related to theoretical knowledge. This test has the characteristics that have been indicated for the continuous assessment.
- Practical test (20% final grade): with questions and exercises of a practical nature similar to those indicated in the continuous assessment system.
The results obtained will be graded in accordance with current regulations. The tests will be held on the dates
established and communicated by the faculty.
