1. General information
The objective is for students to acquire the competencies to work in a Professional Training center, as well as to know how to plan learning activities and proposals for improvement from innovation and teaching research in the subjects corresponding to the specialization. These aspects should form the basis for the Master's Final Project, a compendium of the training acquired throughout all the teachings described above.
These approaches are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, so that the acquisition of the learning outcomes is of the 2030 Agenda, such that the acquisition of the learning results provide training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement provide training and competency to contribute to some extent to their achievement.
2. Learning results
Learning results at the end of the subject:
1. Identify the contents to be worked on in the classroom during the internship period, relating them to the cycle programs and official curricular documents
2. Describe the characteristics of the students and of the class, understood as a formative and social group, the didactic strategies used by the teacher and the main teaching-learning problems they encounters in their class
3. Identify the learning difficulties of students, analysing their causes and establishing implications for the teaching process
4. Design, implement and evaluate didactic sequences that are based on explicit principles of teaching and learning and that incorporate elements of didactic innovation, and propose improvements based on the analysis of experience
5. Use expressions and vocabulary specific to the educational field and the corresponding curricular subjects appropriately

4. Academic activities
The learning process designed for this subject is based on:

Participative attendance in the hours assigned to Practicum II.

Observation by the Master's students of the dynamics of the professional training center.

In-depth analysis of the documents to be reviewed in order to achieve the results and competencies set.

Elaboration of a didactic proposal of the student's specialty or specific work of the specialty, referring to the context and the academic/professional profile of the competences.

Contact of the Master's students with the teachers and other educational agents to get information about the functioning and materials to achieve the results and competencies set, as well as the evaluation

Attendance to meetings with the tutors of Practicum II, the educational center and the University.

5. Assessment system
5.1. Types of tests, evaluation criteria and levels of requirement
Types of tests
The student must demonstrate that he/she has achieved the expected learning results by means of the following assessment activities: face-to-face activities of a compulsory nature, which are a sine qua non condition to be able to evaluate the subject (attendance to the internships in the centres is mandatory), attendance to the tutorials scheduled by the faculty tutor, the tutor of the center and/or both and activities of autonomous work of the student, of individual character.
The autonomous work will consist in the elaboration of a report with the following sections
1. Introduction.
2. Context of the center and classroom (type of center, studies taught, characteristics of the neighbourhood and students; groups with which they have worked and relevant aspects to be highlighted; constitution of the Department)
3. Brief reflective journal of the student, outlining the different activities carried out during the Practicum, both in the center and outside it (including readings, analysis of documents, meetings, etc.)
4. Observation and comparative study (groups being compared, number of students, number of boys and girls, special needs of the students; teaching methodologies of the teachers and variety according to the different groups, teacher-student interaction, role of the teachers in the classroom, attention to diversity, resolution of conflicts)
5. Proposal of didactic intervention and/or innovation, application, evaluation and proposal for improvement (Topic chosen; justification of the design, methodology and innovation; relevance of the contents, objectives and activities according to the competences to be developed in the students; organization of the activities; resources used; teacher-student interaction; student evaluation; analysis of the results of the application; proposal for improvement; specific didactic bibliography ) The intervention proposal must be contextualized in a didactic unit, didactic programming, in the curriculum of the degree and the professional family and its link with the System of National Qualifications and Professional Training.

The correctness of the written report according to the following criteria:
- Adequacy and correctness of the planned content. 60%
- Analytical, critical and self-critical capacity. 20%
- Justification and substantiation of the reflections made. 10%
- Academic quality: discourse organization, formal correctness, technical vocabulary, adequate use of primary and secondary sources , citations, references and formatting following APA standards. 10%
- The document will have a minimum length of 15 pages and a maximum of 20 pages (not including annexes); Arial 10 font size, 1.5 line spacing, justified text and 2.5 cm margins.
Assessment criteria
The Quality Assurance Committee of the Master's Degree in Teaching, at the meeting of June 24, 2011, agreed that all Practicum subjects of the different specialties would be subject to Article 9 of the Regulation of Evaluation Standards of Learning of the University of Zaragoza (agreement of December 22, 2010). In accordance with the aforementioned point 4:
"Exceptionally, those subjects that due to their special practical or clinical dimension and in which students must necessarily demonstrate their knowledge or skills in facilities or locations outside the conventional classroom, may be evaluated only by the continuous evaluation modality. This exceptionality must be declared by the Quality Assurance Committee of the degree and will have the approval of the Undergraduate Studies Committee, applying, in any case, only to the practical dimension of the subject".
Grading criteria for Practicum II:
- 40% written report
- 10% participation and involvement in the sessions with the university faculty
- 50% of their performance in the internship center, taking into account the quantitative and qualitative evaluations of the center tutors
- The student must achieve in each of the sections a minimum of 5 points out of 10 in order to be graded
- In any case, as part of the evaluation, the teacher may request, at random, the oral defence of the test or assignment delivered in writing, for the verification of the grade.
Finally, it must be taken into account that the Rules of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to the of Coexistence of the University of Saragossa will be applicable to irregularities committed in the evaluation tests by means of academic fraud, as well as the application of Article 30 of the Of the Regulations of the Norms of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than other than academic fraud.
