1. General information
The goals are:
- To know and understand reflectively the historical and current foundations of the school institution.
- To know and critically understand the school organization and regulations of primary education centers.
- To know and analyze reflectively and critically the institutional documents of the centers.
- Analyze projects related to the centers, including an innovative perspective, promoting the improvement of coexistence coexistence.
These goals are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), such that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement:

2. Learning results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results.
1. Identifies and understands the historical and conceptual foundations of education, as well as the school institution.
2. Identifies, explains and analyzes the regulations governing the organization of primary schools.
3. It critically analyzes the institutional documents of primary education schools, in relation to their different contexts.
4. It analyzes the different modalities of evaluation of centers, programs and teachers.
5. Designs and develops all or part of plans and projects related to the consideration of the school as an educational community.
3. Syllabus
Genesis and history of the school.
The institutionalization of the school: social contexts and political orientations.
Right to education and compulsory schooling. School models.
Primary education in the Spanish educational system and its development in different contexts (urban, rural, etc.).
Education in the State of Autonomies.
Structure and processes in the school: planning, innovation and evaluation.
4. Academic activities
The subject will be developed through class sessions (large group), seminars (intermediate group), tutored work and autonomous individual work, using the University's virtual platform tutoring and individual autonomous work, with the virtual platform of the University.
Learning activities will be combined over 150 hours (6 ECTS), both through theoretical credits: 75 hours (3 ECTS), as well as through practical credits: 75 hours (3 ECTS), performing face-to-face activities and non-face-to-face activities. There will be analysis of written, visual and/or virtual-digital documents, resolution of cases and/or problems, group projects, individual independent study and work, readings, attendance to conferences or visits to educational institutions, as well as participation in forums and debates. The realization of external outings may also be considered, as well as the organization of conferences or seminars with guest speakers,.
5. Assessment system
There will be a written test (semi-structured and objective questions), which will be common in at least 50% of the contents.
Group portfolio up to 12000 words (maximum 5 students) including, as a minimum
1. -Group rehearsal. The internal coherence of the text, the argumentation of the propositions formulated and the quality of the reflections constructed will be evaluated. The adequacy, richness and rigor of the bibliographic work, as well as the compliance with orthotypographic standards.
2. -Theoretical and practical case or other formats the justification and viability of the proposals formulated, the internal coherence of the text, as well as the relevance of the bibliographical sources used.
-The length will be 5000-6000 words excluding annexes for the group essay and activities practices. Teachers may incorporate other specific activities explained above.
The student may choose to recommend a single portfolio within the subject or with other subjects others.
The positive grade of the subject will require that the student has passed both the written test (2.5 points out of 5) and the Dossier (2.5 points out of 5). No mediation will take place if one of the two parties is suspended.
No distinction is made between continuous assessment and a global test. The results, criteria and requirements of evaluation specified above will be applied to all students regardless of their circumstances to take the course (regular attendance, irregular attendance or non-attendance). Exceptional situations may be consideredfor the delivery of the portfolio on an individual basis after consultation with the faculty.
-Fifth and sixth year students must be-aware that its evaluation will be before a court of law.-
Finally, it should be noted that the following will be applied-Rules of Coexistence Regulations of the University of Zaragoza to the irregularities committed in the evaluation tests by means of academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of theRegulations of the Standards for the Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
