5.1. Methodological overview

The learning process that is designed for this subject is based on the following: Among the 40 % dedicated for classroom teaching, 60% ​​will be dedicated to the training activity number 1 in the methodology in the classroom and it will be spend 40 % to the training activity number 2 with the methodology of solving practical cases and practices in the classroom or outside it. This is justified by the special characteristics of the subject of law and ethics as reflected in the skills acquired by the students , which require the preparation of solving practical cases based on the law and facts as well as the joint discussions among students to improve their skills expository and argumentative.

5.2. Learning tasks

1. Training activity: lectures and systematization by the Professor.

- Methodology: theoretical class.

- Relationship to acquire skills and learning outcomes: C2, C3

- Credits: 1.5 ECTS

2. Training activity: dynamic activities of teacher and students (resolution of practical cases and practices in the classroom or outside it).

- Methodology: teaching practice based on text analysis, case resolution, oral presentations by the students and debate.

- Relationship to acquire skills and learning outcomes: C1, C4, C5, C6

- Credits: 1.0 ECTS

3. Training activity: self-study by the student, tutorials, writing papers and evaluation of the activities.

- Methodology: adapted to the type of activity (individualized or group tutorials, continuous assessment and written tests theoretical and practical).

- Relationship to acquire skills and learning outcomes: C1, C4, C5, C6

- Credits: 3.5 ECTS

5.3. Syllabus

1. The evaluative content of legal rules: identification and practical consequences.

2. Society and conflicts of values ​​in the regulation and application of law.

3. Law, equality and difference: citizenship, culture and gender.

4. Obedience to the law, civil disobedience and conscientious objection.

5. Ethics of the legal profession.
