Syllabus (or programme)
1. Poetry and lyric: the specific difference.
2. Poetry and prosody: the metric system of Spanish. Syllable length and accent.
3. The problem of Hispanic poetry genres and the strophic construction. Free verse, visual poetry and other resources.
4. Types and stylistic registers of Hispanic lyrical poetry.
5. Lyrical sub-genres: themes, forms and tones.
6. The motifs and topoi of lyric.
