5.1. Methodological overview

During class presentations, all the theoretical aspects will be presented, with many practical examples

 

In the lab sessions, the students will learn how to apply these concepts of image editing and manipulation using open-source software

 

Both theory and practice will be applied for the final presentation, where the students need to work in groups and produced work previously agreed with the professor

5.2. Learning tasks

Regular classes: the course program will be taught by the professor; these classes will also be used to solve practical problems that may have arised during the develoment of the lab assignments and the final course presentation

 

Lab sessions: each one will proposed a different task related to image or video editing

 

5.3. Syllabus

Block 1: Digital representation of visual information

Block 2: Composition: static images

Block 3: Digital image editing

Block 4: Compositing real and virtual images

5.4. Course planning and calendar

Regular classes: 26 hours (13 sessions x 2 hours/each)

Lab sessions: 26 hours (12 sessions x 2 hours/each)
